The Sycamores is in Carding Mill Valley which is set within 6000 acres of The Long Mynd which is owned by The National Trust. It is within easy walking distance of Church Stretton town centre (10minutes), also nic-named Little Switzerland. Church Stretton has the facilities that you would expect from a small market town, and if that's not enough we are in easy travelling distance of Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Telford.

Carding Mill Valley has a National Trust visitor centre and cafe which is open seasonally. It has a wide range of activities catering for both children and adults, making it a wonderful way to learn about the surrounding area, the Shropshire Hills and its abundance of wildlife.

The Gliding station, Links Golf course, Walking, Fell Running, Orienteering and Cycling are also a few of the sports enjoyed by both visitors and residents of Church Stretton. For those looking for a less strenuous time there is a Shuttle Bus service (seasonal), which runs directly from Carding Mill Valley and takes you around the South Shropshire Hills and surrounding areas. Church Stretton also has a railway station and bus service should you wish to explore further afield with Railway links to the West Midlands, South/North Wales and the North.

The Holiday Studio is situated on the lower ground floor of a family Edwardian House, benefiting from its own entrance and terrace with views directly over Carding Mill Valley. The Accommodation is suitable for 2 adults and possibly a small child.
